CHILD RESTRAINT VEHICLE ANCHOR KIT

This Anchor Kit is designed for car without anchorage points, and secures your child restraint harness.

A tether bolt is installed into the floor of the car and is the connector to which your tether strap connects.
This Safety 1st Anchor Bolt Kit is used to securely connect a snap hook style tether strap, to keep it safetly in place.

Older cars have a bolt installed in the rear of the car, while new cars have a small bar fitted to the back of the rear seat. If your car does not come with a tether bolt you will need to install one. The bolt must be secured to a strong part of the vehicles chassis. This can be done by yourself or by a mechanic.

It suits any brand of child restraint made since January 1993 with hook anchorage.
